More than 100 films, filmmaker conversations, and special events come together as the Houston Asian American Pacific Islander Film Festival returns for its 22nd edition. Founded in 2004, HAAPIFEST continues its mission of showcasing Asian American and Pacific Islander stories through film, bringing audiences a diverse program of narrative features, documentaries, shorts, premieres, and community events. The festival highlights voices from across the AAPI diaspora while creating opportunities for dialogue, connection, and cultural exchange through storytelling. This year's program includes filmmaker Q&A sessions, meet and greets, premieres, and special presentations that allow audiences to engage directly with the creators behind the films. Among the featured events is *Water Mirror Echo: Bruce Lee and the Making of Asian America*, a conversation with author Jeff Chang exploring the life and legacy of Bruce Lee, followed by a screening of *Enter the Dragon: The Bruce Lee Revolution*. Whether you're discovering new filmmakers, exploring stories from across the AAPI community, or joining conversations that extend beyond the screen, HAAPIFEST offers a celebration of cinema, culture, and storytelling in Houston.
