FIFA Fan Festival Houston If you don't have a match ticket, this is your spot. The official FIFA Fan Festival has taken over East Downtown near Shell Energy Stadium for the entire World Cup tournament, and it's completely free to get in. We're talking a multi-acre soccer party zone with giant screens for live match viewing, a 7v7 turf field, a 360-degree projection dome from Space Center Houston, live entertainment, sponsor activations, and nearly 20 local food concepts curated to reflect Houston's culinary diversity, including Halal and vegetarian options. Houston Hall even offers an air-conditioned retreat with interactive exhibits from Space Center Houston and the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo. The festival draws an estimated 15,000 visitors daily, so plan accordingly and arrive early. Open every match day from June 11 through July 19. Gates open 90 minutes before the first match of the day. Closed on rest days: July 8, 12, 13, 16, and 17.
