The world is coming to Houston, and EaDo is where it's all going down. From June 11 to July 19, 2026, East Downtown transforms into the official home of FIFA Fan Festival™ Houston, the city's beating heart for the 2026 World Cup. For 39 days, EaDo will buzz with energy, culture, and the beautiful game, drawing fans from every corner of the globe to one of Houston's most vibrant neighborhoods. This is more than a watch party. The Fan Festival will feature live entertainment, viewing areas for matches, interactive exhibits, food and beverage experiences, and celebrations that showcase Houston's incredible diversity. Expect massive screens for every match, global eats from Vietnamese pho to Texas BBQ, sponsor activations, youth soccer activities, and the kind of crowd energy that only happens once every four years. A major piece of the experience is Football Fiesta Houston, a concept honoring East Houston's deep roots in the Hispanic community, extending the party beyond the festival fences and into EaDo's restaurants, bars, and streets. The neighborhood that already lives and breathes soccer year-round (Shell Energy Stadium, home of the Dynamo and Dash, sits right in the middle of it) is ready to show the world why Houston is one of the most diverse cities on the planet. In the final stretch, July 6-19, 2026, Shell Energy Stadium transforms into a celebration venue with Fan Festival overflow, open field access, two international friendly matches, a major concert event, and daily entertainment celebrating the global game.
