Houston Singles Pitch-A-Match
Tucked inside a century-old Midtown building that once housed a neighborhood grocery store, Axelrad Beer Garden (co-owned by Adam Brackman and Monte Large) has become one of Houston's most beloved outdoor gathering spots, complete with hammocks, 25-plus taps, and a sprawling garden shared with Luigi's pizza next door. Once a month, that same garden transforms into the venue for Glitch-A-Match, a sold-out singles event held every last Saturday from 7:30 to 10 PM. Tickets run $30 for a Presenter (covers you and the friend you're pitching) or $18 for a Viewer who wants to mingle or cheer from the sidelines. The format puts 12 presenters (six women, six men) on the mic for five minutes each, followed by a social hour and Glitch Garden video game night that runs all night. Suggested for straight singles 21-plus, grab tickets through the link in @axelradhouston's bio before they sell out. Heard it from @houstonhotspots
